I give workshops at institutions in the field of design research, design methodology and exhibition design. In one of these workshops I encourage students to see the production of drawings through the lens of a scientific researcher who works in his laboratory. I ask students to build an experimental system. Thereby the produced drawings turn into objects of inquiry. Finally the drawings are not judged on how nicely they are put on paper, but if they contain evidence.
